Electrifying Grassroots Motorsports
Team Arcblast was formed in 2023 by racers who wanted to push the limits of motorsport. Best known for holding the EV distance record in 24 Hours of Lemons, the team pilots a EV converted Datsun 620 with swappable battery packs and handling that sets them apart. Team Arcblast wants to get more people racing and push EV technology into pole position.
What We Do
We have as much fun as possible building and racing cool electric cars, sometimes even to wild results! Along the way we have learned a few things and broken a few more. Grassroots motorsport is in our blood and we can’t wait to meet you all at the track.

We are proof that anyone can get into grassroots motorsport. Our team members are experienced in many types of events, including 24 Hour of Lemons Endurance racing with the infamous battery swapping Datsun 620 EV Conversion. Follow along with our races, and stop by if you are in the neighborhood!

The same old is boring, but electric cars bring crazy and reliable performance to us all. There are a few new parts to memorize but it’s not so bad, honestly there are way fewer parts in a EV than in an ICE car. So whether it is an OEM EV getting opened up on the track, or a custom build EV Conversion monster, we are figuring out the technology to go fast in the new era of speed.

It’s lonely racing by ourselves, so we think you should join the fun! The first track day can seem like a lot to figure out, but we have been there before too and promise it’s not so bad. Once you are in a car on the track it is strangely peaceful so race cars for mental health! Whether you are trying to get to the track or learn more about performance electric cars, we have probably already broken it so learn from our mistakes.
